I don't actually like Mawile very much, but this artwork really makes the little guys come to life. It made it seem like a real thing to me, not a collection of pixels I have to collect and occasionally throw in the daycare with a Pokemon I like. I really like the dripping on the black mouth... drool? I also found the shading on the legs really interesting. It makes them look like hakama. And she... she? she's looking at her claws, thinking about what she can do. It's real. I dig it.

I am also not that fond of Mawile,
I have never used him/her in the games,
but Mawile in general has very interesting
design at least. :d
And yeah, even though I know that the 'black mouth' isn't
actually a mouth, I still wanted to make it drool, haha.
Kinda makes it look more alive that way, I think.

I always forget which mouth is real. Kinda like with wobbuffet! XD

But the drool is cool. It certainly makes the top mouth more "convincing" and it makes mew wonder about how that would actually work. I love art like this, stuff that makes you think harder about the subject. THank YOU for sharing it! :D
